Behavioral Analyst
Certification: Must hold a valid Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification or Behavior Specialist license issued by the PA Department of State. Masters Degree and minimum of three years experience implementing behavioral interventions in a school or other educational setting required.
Description: The Board Certified Behavior Analyst position is an Act 93 administrative position responsible for the following: providing consultation and intervention for students demonstrating behavioral needs; conducting Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA) and collaborating with School Psychologist for the purpose of evaluations; developing and monitoring staff implementation of Positive Behavior Support Plans and safety plans; coordinating behavioral health services among internal and external personnel; designing, implementing, and monitoring training programs for faculty and staff related to behavioral interventions, de-escalation, and restraints; monitoring compliance related to training and intervention to ensure compliance with state and federal mandates; maintaining accurate records; serve as liaison/LEA representative with outside educational placements; evaluate the effectiveness of the district’s comprehensive behavioral health programs; and all other duties as assigned by the Director of Special Education.

Director of Buildings and Grounds
Qualifications: Minimum of a high school diploma; associate or bachelor's degree, or certifications/credentials in related fields preferred. Buildings and grounds supervisory experience required, preferably with experience in school operations and supervision of employees. Must have extensive knowledge of all aspects of buildings and grounds maintenance; possess a valid PA drivers license; be available to respond to emergencies during off hours, including weekends; possess basic computer skills; be able to communicate effectively with students, staff, colleagues and the Board of Education, both verbally and in writing; have excellent leadership and organizational skills; and be able to meet the physical demands of the position.
Description: The Director of Buildings and Grounds is an Act 93 administrative position responsible for the following: oversee the maintenance, safety, and operational efficiency of all district facilities and grounds; manage a team of maintenance and custodial staff, including scheduling and overtime distribution; train custodial and maintenance staff in all aspects of the operation; ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal mandates; maintain inventory and facilitate ordering of maintenance-related supplies; supervise safety, working conditions, and other OSHA-related requirements; prepare monthly reports for the Board of Education; coordinate routine and emergency repairs; ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes; develop and oversee the maintenance budget; engage in long-term and short-term planning for maintenance projects; solicit and oversee all third-party contractors, including inspecting all work performed to ensure quality and craftsmanship; work closely with school administrators to support the educational environment by maintaining clean, safe, and well-functioning facilities; contribute to a positive learning experience for students and staff; and all other duties as assigned by the superintendent.

Full-year Long-term Substitute High School Physical Science Teacher
Certification: Must possess an active PA certificate in General Science 7-12 (8450) or Physics 7-12 (8470).
Description: A high school physical science teacher is responsible for educating students on the principles and concepts of physical science. This role involves creating and delivering engaging lesson plans, assessing student understanding, and fostering a positive learning environment; develop and implement lesson plans that fulfill the requirements of the school’s curriculum program; utilize a variety of teaching techniques to address different learning styles; incorporate laboratory experiments and hands-on activities to enhance understanding of chemical concepts; integrate technology into the curriculum to aid in the understanding of complex scientific concepts; stay current with the latest developments in science education and pedagogy; participate in ongoing professional development; collaborate with colleagues to enhance instructional practices and share resources; communicate effectively with students, parents, colleagues, and administrators; and fulfill all other duties associated with the role of a high school science teacher.

Long-Term Substitute Occupational Therapist
Certification: Must possess an active Occupational Therapy license in the state of Pennsylvania.
Description: A school occupational therapist (OT) provides essential services to students with diverse needs to help them achieve their academic, social, and personal goals. The Occupational therapist works with students in grades K-12 to support their ability to participate in academic and school activities by addressing physical, emotional, and cognitive limitations; works closely with students, parents, teachers, and other school staff to develop and implement individualized plans that help students succeed in the school environment; conduct assessments and evaluations of students to identify strengths, weaknesses, and areas of need; observe students in various settings (classroom, playground, etc.) to understand their abilities and challenges; develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student's needs; provide direct therapy services to students, individually and in groups, to improve fine and gross motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities; participate in IEP (Individualized Education Plan) meetings and provide expert input to guide the creation and modification of plans; educate teachers and staff on strategies to support students' needs in the classroom; teach students self-help skills and coping strategies to enhance their independence; implement accommodations and modifications in the classroom and school environment to support student success; advise on the selection and use of adaptive equipment and assistive technology; monitor and document students' progress and adjust therapy plans as needed; maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including session notes and reports; and fulfill all other duties as assigned by the Director of Special Education and/or Building Principal.
