Lakeland Board of Education Moves Forward with 2017 Renovation Project
At their Buildings & Grounds meeting and work session on Monday, March 20th, the Board reached consensus on a project to move forward with. Since the bids came in about $1.5M over what we had projected and planned for, the Board decided to remove the paving/sidewalk portion of the planned project, to stay below their planned expense of a $7M bond. The Board plans to revise & rebid a smaller paving/concrete project, without increasing the bond amount.
Here is an updated list of the items which will be moving forward in the Summer 2017.
